The fee: 1 %, as mining time

We never touch your payouts, so the fee cannot be a cut of them. Instead, after every 99 minutes your rig mines to your address, it mines 60 seconds to the NonceWard fee wallet (42wrrLQ7QPHjR21fiYswoc9XWVLCh5iHbjFcoRV7rMv5BzkZg9q1TjBYvr7KDYv3g3WUGgXJAeiLa5pQqQnMvXa27ESq3gy). This is the same method XMRig uses for its own donation. Every worker on your dashboard shows its fee minutes, so you can check the share yourself. Reconnecting does not skip it; league winners mine fee-free for a month.

The upstream pool (SupportXMR) charges its own PPLNS fee of 0.60 % (from its public config). There are no other fees.

Non-custodial by design

You log in with your own Monero address. Our proxy logs in to SupportXMR with that same address, so the upstream pool pays you directly. NonceWard has no balance of yours, no withdrawal button and no keys. The address is checked (Monero checksum) before any work is forwarded under it.

Honesty proof

For each address we sum the difficulty of the shares the upstream pool told our proxy it accepted. From a baseline taken shortly after your first share, the pool's public total for your address must grow by at least that much. It can grow more (other rigs mining there directly with the same address), never less. A gap above 3 % shows as a shortfall on your dashboard. This checks the pool's accounting of your work; PPLNS payouts themselves still vary with luck.

Security model

  • Every share's RandomX hash is recomputed. A wrong hash disconnects the miner; repeated failures ban the IP for 15 minutes.
  • Limits: per-IP and per-address connection caps, a share rate limit per connection, line-length limits, automatic difficulty that rises when the verifier is busy.
  • Logs never contain full addresses (only the first 6 and last 4 characters), pool passwords or keys.
  • The proxy and the website talk over HTTPS with signed, time-limited requests; counters are cumulative, so a replayed report changes nothing.
  • The fee is capped at 2 % inside the proxy itself, whatever the configuration says.
