Get XMRig only from xmrig.com/download and check the SHA-256 of the archive. Antivirus tools often flag every miner; that is expected for mining software.

Mine-or-Rent instead?

Register the rig on nonceward.com and use its rig key (nw_…) as the XMRig user on the same Stratum. While nobody rents it, it mines to your own Monero address; when a renter books it, it switches automatically and you are paid from escrow every 10 minutes.
